Pepsi Kalwani

In an interview with Pepsi Kalwani, we find out more about the young prodigy and the advice that she has to give to the younger audience.

Pepsi Kalwani believes in conceptualizing one’s imagination and bringing the stars down from the heavens to the earth. She is a strong believer in the fact that nothing is impossible, and makes everyone around her strive and achieve their best. Not letting the patriarchal stereotypes drag her down, she set examples from a very young age and has now become an inspiration to many creative young minds!

Pepsi started her career at the age of 16. She went from anchoring in events to organizing them - “it’s been a dream journey!” She met ShivKarira, her partner in her venture, and together they decided to go big and launched UD Events and More. The pair knows what’s trending and when.

She tells us the following about her love for her career, “In my field, rather in any field you have to be passionate and motivated to continue thriving every single day and have the courage to face what life throws at you because it is only then that you will be able to create the perfect magical moment for your client!”

We asked Pepsi about her advice for our readers and this is what we gleaned from it: She tells us to think differently and to try and explore new ideas without bringing our old ideas along for the ride.

“Stand out to be heard,” she says. “Ask yourself what makes you happy and have fun doing it. You will constantly need to remind yourself about the importance of having a good balance in your life.”

Pepsi goes on to remind us not to fear failures and to always remember that anyone who has ever accomplished something in life has had certain roadblocks and setbacks along the way. While the key is not giving up on yourself. She asks us to wear our passionate and enthusiastic hearts on our sleeves and to show how we feel. For our emotions and attitudes act as subtitles for the documentaries of our lives, displaying who we are and what we’re made of.
